2 in the park homers in the first by Austin Schilb (Bradley) and Nic Barret (Cruz) made for an interesting start to the game. Bradley rallied in the 2nd for another 3 runs and from there it was a pitchers duel with Scotty "Paple" Hom closing the last 2 inning's with near perfect pitching. It was a graet night for a baseball game - the game was called due to darkness at the top of the 5th. Both teams played hard. The first inning was very exciting with 5 runs scored by True North and 4 by Bradley. The highlight for the hitters of Bradley were; Shea with 2 doubles, J Bonn with 3 hits and Perry McCarthy with 2 hits. For True North, Charlie Cosgrove had 2 doubles and Justin Tedeschi had an awesome inning ending catch to close a Bradley rally. Great back and forth game which went to the end as Coke rallied in the 6th with the wining run at the plate - but Bradley played tough defense to preserve the win. Andrew Brazel pitched a great game and arrive safely on first base 3 times, as did Goode. Bradleys hits were spread out pretty evenly, with the exception of Scott Hom's base clearing "in the park" home run which ultimately won the game for Bradley. Hom (60) and Personeni (56) pitched well. Coke: Brazel (73); Baker (21); Goode (13); Donahue (16) also pitched well. |

Bradley had thier bats cracking as all of the team hit safely at least once. Highlights were; Perry McCarthy hit safely 3 times, Matt Personeni's Grand Slam and a nice hit by Hugh Finnerty. Natale's Rallied in the 3rd with a nice RBI single by Zach Silva and again in the 4th John Lawless had a sacrifice driving in Chris Curran. Two top teams went head to head at "High Noon" at Hersey field. The Snug Mariners who have not lost since April 28th and the 9-2-1 Garret Bradley team showed up to play. Great pitching by Bradely's Horn and Garrity who combined to strike out 13 Mariners. Defense was the difference for The mighty Half-Pints brought their gloves to this game. Great hustle and a strong throw in the outfield by Co-Co Cooper Nisbet started things off. One of the greatest catches of the season in centerfield showed fans of baseball why They call him Will 'THE THRILL' D'entremont. He chased down a low sinking line drive and caught it just off his toes. Greg 'big W' Williamson's 2 great catches will also be on ESPN's web-gems. The bats were alive for Team Coca-Cola against a tough Rep Garrett Bradley Team. Coca-Cola scored 3 runs in the first, two coming from John Donahue's Home Run. Rep Garrett Bradley came back in the bottom of the first with one run via a double from Matt Personeni. Coca-Cola broke the game open on the 4th inning with 4 runs as Patrick Donovan drove in two runs with a nice hit. Perry Berger and Rachael Lundy also had great hits for team Coke tonight. Matt Personeni made a great catch at first base and had two doubles. Dan Shea also had a nice double for Rep G. Bradley. Davis Goode and John Donahue pitched very well for Team Coca-Cola giving up two runs and keeping a great hitting team off the bases. Pitch Count Team Coca-Cola: Goode - 54 Donahue - 56 Brazel - 9 ?
