| Allied Home Mortgage 1 vs. Turner Custom Building 11 | Minor League | Hingham - Hersey Field | Sun, Apr 22, 11:00 AM |
Under a sunny sky at Hersey the only thing brighter than the sun was the new season enthusiam of every player. Both teams played stong behind the starting pitching of Stephen Townsend (75 pitches) for Allied and Reese Linton (42 pitches) for Turner. Joshua Cassino and Ben Turner boosted the Turner offense early with hard hit balls and were helped by Christian Boretti and Brendan O'Connor with nice drives to the outfield in the later innings. Nice hitting by Allied's Townsends kept them in the game early on. Both teams played solid defense and had several nice plays in the field. After 3 strong innings by Reese, Ben Turner (39 pitches) stepped in to pitch the last three innings for Turner. Great effort by the Allied boys and their other pitchers: Finn Powell (67 pitches), Sam Sullivan (11 pitches) and Nathan Townsend (57 pitches). |

| Allied Home Mortgage 15 vs. N'tierty 0 | Minor League | Hingham - Kress Field | Sat, Apr 28, 9:30 AM |
What a well played game played by two good teams looking for their first win despite the lopsided score. N'tierty's Luke McInnis hooked up with George Reader to make a picture perfect throw to the plate to rob Allied of their first run. Allied's Stephen Townsend towered a huge triple in the second. Despite good pitching by N'tierty, Allied's bats came alive. Rich McGinn and his coaches should be commended for giving everyone a shot in the infield and pitching and really mixing it up regardless of winning or losing which is what the league should be all about. Pitchers for Allied: Finn Powell (62) and Sam Sullivan (32). For N'tierty: Leary (48) Chris Flanders (54) and George Reader (31). Great game for a great group of kids for both sides. |

| Allied Home Mortgage 4 vs. Whitney Gordon's Jewelers 8 | Minor League | Hingham - Plymouth River School | Tue, Jun 12, 5:00 PM |
All players should feel proud of their efforts in this game. Excellent pitching, base running, defense and hitting were the order of the day. W.G. jumped to a 2-0 lead on rbi singles by Andrew Kieth and Max Pomroy. Allied Mortgage countered with hits by the Townsend brothers, Stanwood and Petrolia for a 4-2 lead. It seemed as though every play mattered in this a game that could have gone either way. In the top of the sixth with the bases loaded and two outs Luke Pomroy hit a single to knock in a run that tied the game 4-4. This brought up Liam Richmond who hit a ball that seemed like it would roll all the way to Jackson Square for a grand slam. At the end of the game Allied Home Mortgage had a pizza party where laughter and congratulations on a great season were plentiful. Manager Greg Sullivan and his coaches taught their players baseball skills (7-4 season) and it was evident they taught the players many other skills as well. P.
