Allied Home Mortgage 1 vs. Turner Custom Building 11 Minor League Hingham - Hersey Field Sun, Apr 22, 11:00 AM
Under a sunny sky at Hersey the only thing brighter than the sun was the new season enthusiam of every player. Both teams played stong behind the starting pitching of Stephen Townsend (75 pitches) for Allied and Reese Linton (42 pitches) for Turner. Joshua Cassino and Ben Turner boosted the Turner offense early with hard hit balls and were helped by Christian Boretti and Brendan O'Connor with nice drives to the outfield in the later innings. Nice hitting by Allied's Townsends kept them in the game early on. Both teams played solid defense and had several nice plays in the field. After 3 strong innings by Reese, Ben Turner (39 pitches) stepped in to pitch the last three innings for Turner. Great effort by the Allied boys and their other pitchers: Finn Powell (67 pitches), Sam Sullivan (11 pitches) and Nathan Townsend (57 pitches).

Allied Home Mortgage 15 vs. N'tierty 0 Minor League Hingham - Kress Field Sat, Apr 28, 9:30 AM
What a well played game played by two good teams looking for their first win despite the lopsided score. N'tierty's Luke McInnis hooked up with George Reader to make a picture perfect throw to the plate to rob Allied of their first run. Allied's Stephen Townsend towered a huge triple in the second. Despite good pitching by N'tierty, Allied's bats came alive. Rich McGinn and his coaches should be commended for giving everyone a shot in the infield and pitching and really mixing it up regardless of winning or losing which is what the league should be all about. Pitchers for Allied: Finn Powell (62) and Sam Sullivan (32). For N'tierty: Leary (48) Chris Flanders (54) and George Reader (31). Great game for a great group of kids for both sides.
(P) Allied Home Mortgage Minor League Hingham - Hersey Field Tue, May 01, 3:00 PM
Allied Home Mortgage 14 vs. Hedlund Senators 7 Minor League Hingham - Kress Field Wed, May 02, 5:00 PM
A great game played by two good teams. The game was a lot closer than the score indicates. Lots of great hitting including a huge homer from Allied's Stephen Townsend and great fielding including a dramatic behind the back catch by Hedlund's shortstop Oliver Murray-Brown and solid catching behind the plate by Hedlund's John Lastoria. Both teams were hitting machines despite good pitching by Hedlund's Drew Roland(62) and Andrew Spaziani(61) as well as Allied's Finn Powell(30), Conall Mannion(49), and Nathan Townsend(60). All the kids had a lot of fun and played some great ball.
Allied Home Mortgage 8 vs. Carousel Academy 7 Minor League Hingham - Hersey Field Sat, May 05, 3:00 PM
What a barn burner at Hersey today between two good teams. Carousel came out swinging in the 1st with 4 runs and 3 in the 2nd to take a commanding lead with some spectacular defense including 2 extra base denying catches in centerfield by Mike Saleski. Allied came back in the third with 8 runs including a homer from Finn Powell and a triple off the bat of Nathan Townsend. Great pitching by Carousel's Colin McDonald(36), Pat McGaghan made a fine debut(17), and Allied's pitchers were great with Greg Patrolia (54), Stephen Townsend(55), and Finn Powell(24). Frank Forbes and his coaches did a great job giving everyone a shot at pitching and playing the infield. A exciting game and fun for all.
Whitney Gordon's Jewelers 5 vs. Allied Home Mortgage 10 Minor League Hingham - Plymouth River School Tue, May 08, 5:00 PM
A well played game at Plymouth River between two fine teams. Whitney Gordon made it real close with bases loaded and no outs in the last inning. Home runs by WG's Andrew Staley and Liam Richmond and a nice RBI triple off the bat of William Anderson. Allied countered with homers by Stephen Townsend and Conall Mannion complimented by two triples by Nathan Townsend. There was some fine pitching by both teams. WG: Eugene Mattie(59), Robert Smith(58), and Andrew Staley(23). For Allied Nathan Townsend(68), Will Kellem(28), and Sam Sullivan(18). Colon Pomroy and his coaches did a nice job getting everyone in to play all positions. Fun game to watch.
(P) Allied Home Mortgage Minor League Hingham - Hersey Field Thu, May 10, 3:00 PM
Reebok 2 vs. Allied Home Mortgage 18 Minor League Hingham - Kress Field Sat, May 12, 12:00 PM
The score doesn't reflect how close this game was for the first four innings. Reebok's Brett Tivnan had a great 2 run homer and Allied's Nathan Towsend had a nice homer for Allied. Allied's bats came alive in the 5th despite great pitching by Wilson Brown(80), Joe Lindsay(60), and Justin Benoit(29). Great Pitching by Finn Powell(30) and Nathan Townsend(50) kept Reebok's very good batters at bay. Joe Lindsay and his coaches did a nice job keeping Reebok close for 4 innings.
Natale's of Hanover 2 vs. Allied Home Mortgage 15 Minor League Hingham - Hersey Field Sun, May 13, 11:00 AM
What a well played Mother's Day game at Hersey today. Nice hits from Natale's David Costin, Zach Silva, Chris Connelly, and Chris Johnson. Allied bats were alive with everyone on the roster giving Moms a hit including a fence hitting bomb to left center off the bat of Stehen Townsend. Pitching was good from Natale's Brendan Lahiff (73), Nick Walsh (53), and Cameron Leduc (20). Allied had some great debuts on the mound with Chris Bierwirth (26), Conall Mannion (22), Mitch Anderson debuting with(28), and a Jonathan Papelbon save from Greg Patrolia(14). Matt Curran and his coaches did a nice job with a great group of players.

True North PR 4 vs. Allied Home Mortgage 12 Minor League Hingham - Kress Field Sat, May 26, 7:00 AM
The game was much tighter than the score indicates. Tied through the 4th 3-3 with TN hits by Will Roe, Brendan Tedeschi, M. Calvi, and A. Irvin. Allied came out swinging with a homer from Powell, a 3 run triple from Matt Stanwood, doubles from Billy Harrington, Stephen Townsend, Mitch Anderson and Greg Patrolia, and solid singles from Jake Van Dine and Sam Sullivan. The pitching was strong with TN's John Fisher(75), Justin Tedeschi(20) Brendan Tedeschi(40), Austin Irvin(20), and Jonah Berkin(33) and Allied's Finn Powell(47), Sam Sullivan(55), and Stephen Townsend(59). Mark Tedeschi and his coaches did a nice job allowing all the kids to play every position and allowed a lot of pitchers a try on the mound. Great game.
Dunkin' Donuts 14 vs. Allied Home Mortgage 10 Minor League Hingham - Haley Field Mon, May 28, 3:00 PM
Impressive pitching debut by Stoddard Rowley and solid relief by Dillon Redman led the DD team to it's third victory. Solid defensive plays by Jackson Hartwell, Ned Lipsett and Matt Heffernan sealed the deal for an improving Dunkin Donuts squad.

Allied Home Mortgage 12 vs. Balanced Benefits Group 18 Minor League Hingham - Hersey Field Sat, Jun 09, 3:00 PM
A marathon...good game.
Allied Home Mortgage 4 vs. Whitney Gordon's Jewelers 8 Minor League Hingham - Plymouth River School Tue, Jun 12, 5:00 PM
All players should feel proud of their efforts in this game. Excellent pitching, base running, defense and hitting were the order of the day. W.G. jumped to a 2-0 lead on rbi singles by Andrew Kieth and Max Pomroy. Allied Mortgage countered with hits by the Townsend brothers, Stanwood and Petrolia for a 4-2 lead. It seemed as though every play mattered in this a game that could have gone either way. In the top of the sixth with the bases loaded and two outs Luke Pomroy hit a single to knock in a run that tied the game 4-4. This brought up Liam Richmond who hit a ball that seemed like it would roll all the way to Jackson Square for a grand slam.
At the end of the game Allied Home Mortgage had a pizza party where laughter and congratulations on a great season were plentiful. Manager Greg Sullivan and his coaches taught their players baseball skills (7-4 season) and it was evident they taught the players many other skills as well.
