The drama continued when the Snug entered the bottom of the sixth with a seemingly comfortable five-run lead. Harry Wheeler and Will D'Entremont each got on base and then raced across the plate when Steven Kirk delivered a clutch two-run double to seal the victory. Although the batters deserve most of the ink for such a high-scoring game, the fans recognized the great pitching efforts of DD pitchers Hartwell (72), White (75), Redmond (21) and Lipsitt (32), and Snug pitchers Morris (68), Santilli (23), D'Entremont (28) and McNally (25). |
