| Allied Home Mortgage 15 vs. N'tierty 0 | Minor League | Hingham - Kress Field | Sat, Apr 28, 9:30 AM |
What a well played game played by two good teams looking for their first win despite the lopsided score. N'tierty's Luke McInnis hooked up with George Reader to make a picture perfect throw to the plate to rob Allied of their first run. Allied's Stephen Townsend towered a huge triple in the second. Despite good pitching by N'tierty, Allied's bats came alive. Rich McGinn and his coaches should be commended for giving everyone a shot in the infield and pitching and really mixing it up regardless of winning or losing which is what the league should be all about. Pitchers for Allied: Finn Powell (62) and Sam Sullivan (32). For N'tierty: Leary (48) Chris Flanders (54) and George Reader (31). Great game for a great group of kids for both sides. |

| Natale's of Hanover 9 vs. N'tierty 3 | Minor League | Hingham - Kress Field | Fri, May 25, 5:00 PM |
The bats, gloves and mosquitos came out last night at Kress for a great game with lots of individual highlights for both teams. Natale's had only 9 players but everyone contributed including when Eddie B robbed Matt Partyka of a line shot to the deep outfield which surely would have been an inside the park HR. Pete Ross had outstanding defensive including an unassisted double play to kill one of Natale's rallies. Zach Silva pitched the entire game (4 innings). Biggest hit of the year for Nick Varitek Iaria with a 2 rbi single and Brendan Lahiff reached safely in all four at bats. Congrats to both teams on a hard fought Friday night battle. Z. | Old Derby Animal Hospital 17 vs. N'tierty 14 | Minor League | Hingham - Hersey Field | Sat, Jun 02, 11:00 AM |
The bats came alive on a warm and sunny day at Hersey. In what many observers called the most exciting game of the year for either team, the Dirt Dogs of Old Derby came back from 11 runs down to defeat a spirited N'Tierty team. N'Tierty Manager Rich McGinn had his team up for the game as they brought nine runs across in the 2d inning aided by key hits by McGinn, Taylor, Johnson, and a basesloaded double by David Leen. Only a sparkling defensive play by third baseman Owen Kane could stem the tide. Matthew Partyka, Peter Ross and George Reader did a great job pitching against an Old Derby lineup that was as hot as the day. N'Tierty fought a valiant fight that in the end fell just a little short. Today was Old Derby's day. Every member of the lineup reached base at least once, led by Owen Kane with 2 home runs, 3 hits and 6 rbis, Grant Juric and Sam Jenkins (3 hits each) and Pat Kane (a bases loaded double that sparked the Dirt Dogs comeback). Jack Murphy got the win, striking out five of the last six batters he faced. Sam Jenkins, Trevor Bates and Owen Pelissier (in his longest appearance this season) did a great job against the tough N'Tierty squad. Pitchers: Old Derby Sam Jenkins 23 Trevor Bates 50 Owen Pelissier 44 Jack Murphy 16 N'Tierty Matt Partyka 66 Pete Ross 56 George Reader 9 |

N'tierty played hard, with Cam Taylor (59) and George Reader (69) pitching well. Coach Rich Mcginn and his staff do a great job with their team. |
